NEWS AND EVENTs
As the effects of the current crisis continue to mount exponentially, the Governor of New Jersey has issued what amounts to a "stay at home" directive to all.
Specifically mentioned are automobile dealerships, which as of 9 P.M. Saturday, March 21, 2020, have been ordered to close.
Accordingly, our showroom now must remain closed until the order is withdrawn by the governor.
The servicing and maintenance of automobiles has been exempted from this order. Therefore to our customers whose cars are currently being repaired, work will continue to return them to you as soon as possible. To those of you who have upcoming appointments, I ask you to please give us a call to let us know if you will still be bringing your car to us.
Cars may be left out front, with keys left at the service desk, accompanied by any notes of further instructions or requests. Plastic covers will be placed on the drivers seat as well as a plastic cover on the steering wheel, and a temporary floor mat. You may pay your invoice by phone using a credit card, and your invoice can easily be emailed to you. Your car will be readied for pickup at a pre-arranged time, with the door handle, shifter and key cleaned with an appropriate disinfectant for your protection.
If your car needs repair, you are encouraged and welcomed to call and make arrangements for its scheduling.
If you prefer, we are offering professional, experienced reduced-rate flat bed pickup and delivery if desired. The reduced rate will apply throughout the current situation, but the service itself will continue to be offered on an ongoing basis. The equipment used is a "kneeling" bed that easily and safely accommodates the lowest of your prized beauties.
We will update our website as quickly as possible and will continue to respond to all inquiries about our fine inventory. Remote sales will continue. In the past ten days we have remotely sold and shipped cars to Ohio, Florida, Vienna, (yes, Austria) and of course, New Jersey. I will be happy to spend as much time as necessary to assist you in the pursuit of that dream car.
Lastly, this will pass, but all will experience various degrees of loss and difficulty. I can only hope and pray, that none of you lose family or friends. Surely normalcy will indeed return, but please continue to help wherever and however possible as each of you typically do. Make sure to thank all of the many medical, law enforcement, EMT's, food store, and the countless others who continue to work everyday to support those and all efforts that help to get us all through this.
I wish each of you good fortune and health in the coming weeks and beyond.
